CCA Member Tilcon New York, Inc. will be featured in an upcoming episode of the ABC show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

Tilcon was approached in August to provide a material donation to one of the latest home makeover projects to be featured in the show. Over the course of the last several weeks a team from New York,  headed by CCA Board Member Paul Taphorn, and including Adriane Casterella, Transportation, NY Construction and crews at Clinton Point and Maybrook Asphalt, along with Tony Felicello from K & A Trucking, worked hard to meet the show’s challenging 24 hour a day accelerated delivery schedule and provide materials free of charge to the project. Several members of Construction Contractors Association worked to renovate a dilapidated old sewing machine factory the Newburgh Ministry had been using as a makeshift shelter and community outreach facility serving those in need since 1987. With state grant money and the generosity of many of our contractors, the facility reopened in January now offering heat and a 19-bed facility for men and women.
